A New Experience in Indian Dining – Now at Milchhüsli

ABOUT JAY’S INDIAN FOOD

When I decided to open Jay’s Indian Food back in December 2000, I wanted to create a new dining experience in Indian cuisine.

Delicious, fresh and authentic Indian dishes are our signature, and our varied menu is changed regularly. I am passionate about wines from all over the world, and I have carefully selected a range that perfectly compliments our spicy food.

Our customers can expect a huge welcome and exemplary service from us the moment they step through the door. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

He moved to the location known as MilchHüsli literally translated as the milk house ! he cooks in the milchhüsli 3 to 5 times a week now and in january literally the whole week execpt for Fridays as his friend Pascal Beschle cooks a 8 course meal ! Wednesday and Thursday features Jazz which drives the place wild .

Events and Catering

Our flexible menu can either provide our delicious Indian dishes or a fusion feast to remember! At Milchhüsli you can rent out the whole restaurant or a part and you can have an amazing  sit down meal or stand up  flying cocktail . We have a choice of background music or live piano music !   • Jay`s gehört ganz klar zu den netten und zu den guten Restaurants in Basel. Die Speisen auf der kleinen Karte wechseln regelmässig und schmecken gut. Jay ist immer ein guter und sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Ich mag es sehr, wie dort gekocht wird. Ein schöner und freundlicher Ort und ein gutes Restaurant.

  • Man geht nicht ins Jay's weil man ein Curry Huhn zwischen die Zähne will. Man geht wegen des ganzen Ambiente. Jay, der Chef ist immer für ein Spässchen zu haben. Besuch gerne auf ein andermal, auf sehr bald!
